About the Palate Tasting Room

A Curated Wine Experience in Peoria’s Warehouse District

The Palate Tasting Room is not a traditional wine bar (YET!).


We’re beginning as an intimate, by-appointment tasting space focused on education, connection, and unforgettable wine experiences. Whether you want to attend a themed class, host a private tasting with friends, or get professional wine and menu guidance, the Palate Tasting Room offers a relaxed and curated way to explore wine.

We’re Starting As A By-Appointment Experience

 

To avoid confusion:


The Palate Tasting Room is not open daily for walk-in service.


Instead, we offer scheduled classes, private tastings, and one-on-one consultations that allow guests to enjoy wine with intention, guidance, and personalized attention.

Why We’re Starting This Way
 

The Palate Tasting Room has a big vision: to grow into a full-time wine bar and community gathering space in the Peoria Warehouse District.

To get there sustainably, we’re starting small—with curated events, classes, and services that help fund the renovation and build-out of the future bar. Every tasting, every gathering, and every class helps move us toward opening the doors full-time.

About Lenora

 

Founder, Wine Educator & Host

 

By day, Lenora works full-time in regional economic development—a role she loves and is committed to.


Because of this, consultations, tastings, and private events at the Palate Tasting Room are offered during evenings and weekends, with occasional weekday availability when scheduled in advance.

​

Her approach to wine is warm, approachable, and grounded in the belief that wine should be savored, analog and that builds community and intention. She blends education with fun, making each tasting engaging and accessible, regardless of your wine experience level.
